how i got here...
From an early age I have always known I was meant to be an artist of some sort, I loved to draw and paint and apparently I was pretty good, from the response I received by others. Watching Saturday morning cartoons, comic books and sci-fi movies, the SuperFriends, Star Wars, Scooby Doo, Looney Tunes and just about any other original program that ran in the 70's were a big inspiration to me, to imagine something, then bring it life was what I wanted to do. I was a big fan of ideas being stretched as far as than go,
After earning my BFA in graphics from Paier College of Art, Hamden CT., I pursued my dream as an professional artist and was hired by a licensing co. for Looney Tunes, Marvel, DC Comics, Hanna Barbera as an illustrator and production manager. Four years later I was looking for the next step in my career, and worked for several design agencies, learning what & what not to do in this business.
I spent several years as a freelance designer enjoying getting paid for something I love. I consider myself an “old-school” artist with next generation skill. Throughout my career I've worked with all types of design & print challenges, always able to deliver. I strive to motivate and succeed, problem solve, do what needs to be done. Just always thinking & doing.
what defines you?
